A few weeks ago the second volume of the online Journal of Analytic Theology went online. This journal provides excellent peer-reviewed articles for anybody interested in serious academic philosophy of religion and analytic theology. This edition includes a veritable treasure trove including an outstanding paper by Marilyn McCord Adams critiquing the critique of “ontotheology”, Dale Tuggy’s latest offering “Divine Deception and Monotheism”, and a lively collection of responses to Yoram Hazony’s book The Philosophy of Hebrew Scripture including an article by yours truly.
All told, there are fifteen significant papers in this edition along with several book reviews. Kudos to the senior editors (Oliver Crisp and Michael Rea), executive editors (Trent Dougherty and Kevin Diller) and the editorial assistant (Jesse Schupack) for working to bring outstanding work in analytic theology to the wider public.
