Today I received another contract offer for my book on heaven, this one with Baker. After careful consideration and consulation with my literary agent I decided to accept the Baker offer. I have enjoyed working with Baker on my forthcoming book God or Godless (with John Loftus) and I look forward to working with them on this book as well.
When this as yet untitled book comes out in the fall of 2013 it will explore twenty questions on the doctrine of heaven. Many of these questions have, to my knowledge, never before been addressed in a book on heaven. It should be interesting.
In the interim, here are a couple articles I wrote last year on heaven, “Ouranophobia and Its Treatment” and “The Confessions of an Ouranophobe“.
