Randal’s schedule at the Christian Book Expo
(Dallas TX, March 20-22, 2009)
Workshops:
Finding God in The Shack
Friday March 20 / 4:30 – 5:30 PM
Theologian Randal Rauser will reading from his new book, Finding God in The Shack, a theological response to the often sharply criticized book, The Shack, by William Paul Young. Randal will open up the session for questions and discussion on both his book and Young’s book The Shack, which has caused quite a stir among Evangelical Christians. Rauser’s contribution, as a theologian, is to invite all concerned into the conversation and address with very accessible language these areas of concern. Rauser enjoys the debate and the water cooler discussions surrounding Young’s book and wants us all to be engaged while lending his insight and expertise as a theologian to these controversial issues. Come find out why Eugene Peterson says of Randal, “If you have ever had a conversation on The Shack, whether with an enthusiast or a critic, you will want to invite this skilled and accessible theologian into the conversation.”
