God vs. the Flying Spaghetti Monster at the Society of Edmonton Atheists

Posted on 10/25/11 9 Comments

I have been invited back to speak at the Society of Edmonton Atheists next week. This is a really good group of people and I had a very enjoyable time when I addressed them previously in June. (You can read about my previous experiences here.)

So be sure you come on out of you are in the area. The invitation is not limited to those who believe the proposition “God does not exist”.

Topic: “What hath God to do with the flying spaghetti monster?”

Time: Tuesday, November 1, 2011: June Roundtable 7:00pm to 9:00pm in room 6-7

Place: Stanley A. Milner Library, downtown.

(Ask a security guard to unlock an elevator for you.)

Excellent! It looks like I am going to be able to come. Did they ask you to address this topic or did you get to choose?

I proposed it. Should be interesting. Be sure to stick around afterward if you’re able. The pub talk is even better.

Good to know. I’ll make sure the whole night is free.

How did it go? I’ve recently moved to BC so I wasn’t able to attend. Did you move any more product?

Great as always. I’ll blog about it later.

I heard you moved to Kamloops and are stirring up things with the lively skeptic community there. Lucky them! ;)
